Here’s how to set it up step by step:
🛠 Step 1: Go to the Broadcast Section #
- Click the 📢 Broadcast icon in the left menu
- Hit + New Broadcast at the top right
This opens the broadcast setup screen.
📝 Step 2: Fill In the Broadcast Info #
- Broadcast Name – for your own reference
- Description – optional but helpful
- Phone Number – choose the WhatsApp number to send from
- Template – select one of your approved WhatsApp templates
You’ll see a live preview of your message on the right as you go.
👥 Step 3: Choose Recipients #
- Pick contacts from your list
- Use filters, tags, or groups to refine your audience
- You can also import contacts from Excel
- Use the toggles to include/exclude contacts as needed
⏰ Step 4: Set the Schedule Time #
- Under the question “When do you want to send this broadcast?”
- Select “Schedule for later”
- Choose the exact date and time you want it to go out
- Double-check the time zone if it’s shown — just to be safe!

Want to be 100% sure everything looks right?
- Use the Sample Number field to send a test message to yourself or a teammate
- This sends the actual template to that number immediately
- Perfect for checking variables, buttons, or formatting before going live
✅ Step 6: Save and You’re Done! #
- Click Save to schedule the broadcast
- You’ll see it in the Scheduled tab under the Broadcast section
- You can click on it to review, edit, or cancel before it sends
