To activate WhatsApp Business features like automated messages, catalog browsing, and chatbot flows, you first need to connect Flowbee with the Meta Business Platform. This connection authorizes Flowbee to manage your WhatsApp Business number through Meta’s official API.

🟡 When does this step happen? #
After you complete the Flowbee onboarding process, you’ll see a “Connect to Meta” button on your dashboard.
Clicking this button launches Meta’s official setup flow, where you’ll give Flowbee permission to create and configure your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
🚀 Step-by-Step: Connecting Flowbee to Meta #
✅ Step 1: Launch Meta Connection #
- On your Flowbee dashboard, click the “Connect to Meta” button.
- You’ll be redirected to Meta’s secure setup interface in a new popup window.
📝 Note: The system uses Meta’s OAuth flow to authorize your Facebook Business account and walk you through the WhatsApp Business API setup.
✅ Step 2: Log in to Facebook #
- Log in with the Facebook account that owns or manages your business.
- Click Continue as [Your Name] to proceed.
✅ Step 3: Accept Meta’s Terms #
- Review and accept Meta’s platform policies and WhatsApp Business terms.
- Click Continue.
✅ Step 4: Choose or Create a Business Account #
- Select your existing Facebook Business Manager account.
- Don’t have one? Click “Create Business Account” to register a new one.

- Business Category

🐝 Notes & Tips #
- The Connect to Meta flow uses a secure Meta login — no credentials are stored by Flowbee.
- You must complete all Meta steps for your number to be fully active.
- Catalog assignment happens separately under E-Commerce > Configuration.
- If your number is already in use elsewhere, you’ll need to remove it before proceeding (covered in another article).
