Flowbee makes it incredibly easy to run your own WhatsApp shop β no coding, no external store, and no complex setup. With just a few steps, you can display products, enable cart functionality, and start accepting orders directly inside WhatsApp.
Letβs walk through how to set up your E-Commerce configuration inside Flowbee. π
β Why Use WhatsApp E-Commerce with Flowbee? #
Hereβs why Flowbeeβs built-in commerce tools are a smart choice:
- π± Sell directly through WhatsApp β no need for a separate app or website
- ποΈ Display products in a WhatsApp-native catalog
- π Enable cart support so customers can shop smoothly
- π¦ Get real-time orders and manage them inside Flowbee
- π Sync product updates automatically with Meta
π Where to Find the E-Commerce Settings #
- Click the π E-Commerce icon from the left menu
- Youβll see 5 sub-sections:
- Configuration
- Dashboard
- Categories
- Products
- Orders
We’ll focus on the Configuration tab to get your storefront set up.
π Step 1: Create or Connect a Product Catalog #
Your WhatsApp store runs on a Meta product catalog. This is where all your product data is stored β and it’s required for WhatsApp shopping to work.
- Inside E-Commerce β Configuration, scroll to the Catalog section
- If youβve already created a catalog in Meta Commerce Manager, it will appear here
- If not, click Create Catalog β this will redirect you to Meta where youβll set it up
π οΈ Note: The catalog is created and managed in Meta Commerce Manager, outside of Flowbee. Youβll return to Flowbee after creating it.
π Step 2: Connecting the Catalog to Flowbee #
Once the catalog is visible in Flowbee (after being created in Meta), it still needs to be connected before it can be assigned.
Hereβs how to do that:
- Under the Catalog section, find the catalog listed
- Click the Connect to Flowbee button
- This will redirect you back to Meta to authorize access
- After approval, the catalog will be linked to Flowbee β now itβs ready for assignment
Youβll now see it marked as βConnectedβ in the list.
π² Step 3: Assigning the Catalog to a WhatsApp Number #
With the catalog connected, the final step is to assign it to your WhatsApp number.
- In the WhatsApp Setup section, click the Assign Catalog button
- A popup will appear showing all catalogs that are:
- Created in Meta
- Connected with Flowbee
- Select the catalog you want to assign
- Click Assign
Once assigned, this catalog becomes your active WhatsApp store catalog.
ποΈ Step 4: Enabling Catalog and Cart Visibility #
After the catalog is assigned, turn on these two features to activate shopping in WhatsApp:
- Catalog Settings β Makes your product catalog visible in the chat window
- Cart Settings β Lets customers add multiple products and submit a full order
Both toggles must be enabled to deliver the full shopping experience.
π’ Once enabled, your WhatsApp Business number becomes a live storefront. Customers can browse, add to cart, and order β right from the conversation.
π¦ What Happens Next? #
Once everything is configured:
- Add categories and products from inside Flowbee
- Customers can now shop via WhatsApp
- New orders appear in the Orders tab
- Product changes sync with Meta and reflect in WhatsApp (with slight delay)
π‘ Final Tips #
- Ensure Meta login and business assets are connected correctly
- Only one catalog can be active per WhatsApp number
- Keep toggles ON for both Catalog and Cart to activate your store
- Catalog syncing may take a few minutes depending on Metaβs system
