Pre-Requirements Before Onboarding to Flowbee.io

Before starting your onboarding process with Flowbee.io, there are a few important things you must prepare.

Flowbee.io works using the official WhatsApp Business API provided by Meta. Because of this, some requirements must be completed before connecting your business to the platform.

Preparing these in advance will help make the onboarding process faster, smoother, and easier.

1. Mobile Number Requirement

To use Flowbee.io, you must have a mobile number that will be connected to the WhatsApp Business API.

You have two options.

Option 1 — Dedicated Mobile Number (Recommended)

We strongly recommend using a new dedicated mobile number for WhatsApp API.

Benefits of using a new number:

  • More stable and reliable
  • Lower risk of policy issues
  • Clean WhatsApp history
  • Better long-term performance

Using a dedicated number helps avoid problems during verification and onboarding.

Option 2 — Using an Existing WhatsApp Number

You can also use your existing WhatsApp number.

However, please note an important rule.

If you want to connect an existing WhatsApp number to the WhatsApp API:

  • The WhatsApp account must be deleted from the WhatsApp app first
  • After deletion, the number can be connected to the API

Once connected to the API, the number cannot be used in the normal WhatsApp mobile application.

Co-Existing WhatsApp (Experimental)

Meta currently provides a co-existing option in which the WhatsApp App and API can work together.

However, this feature is still experimental.

Because of this:

  • Sometimes numbers may get restricted
  • Policy rules must be followed carefully

If you choose this option, the Flowbee team will provide proper guidelines to avoid blocks or bans.

2. Meta Business Portfolio (Facebook Business Manager)

To use WhatsApp Business API, you must have a Meta Business Portfolio.

This is also called:

  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Meta Business Suite

This is where your business information is stored.

Inside the Meta Business Portfolio, you will manage:

  • WhatsApp Business Account
  • Phone numbers
  • Message templates
  • Business verification
  • Permissions and access

If you do not have a Meta Business Portfolio, our team will guide you to create one.

3. Public Business Presence

Your business must have an online presence.

You should have at least one of the following:

  • A website
  • A Facebook business page
  • An Instagram business profile

However, the information must be consistent everywhere.

The following details must match exactly:

  • Business name
  • Business address
  • Contact information
  • Brand identity

For example, if your business name in Meta Business Portfolio is:

ABC Trading LLC

Then your website or social media profile should also show the same name and address.

If details do not match, Meta verification may fail.

4. Business Verification Documents

For higher messaging limits and full WhatsApp API approval, business verification may be required.

To complete verification, you may need to submit one of the following documents:

  • Trade License
  • GST Certificate
  • CIN (Company Identification Number)
  • Udyam MSME Certificate

The document must clearly show:

  • Business name
  • Business address
  • Registration details

These details must match the information in your Meta Business Portfolio.

5. Website Requirement (Highly Recommended)

A website is highly recommended for business verification.

Your website should include:

  • Business name
  • Business address
  • Contact details
  • About your company
  • Your products or services

Having a website increases the chances of faster Meta verification.

Before starting onboarding, please make sure you have the following ready:
