Chat History Retention Policy
Overview
This document explains how Flowbee.io stores and manages chat history during:
- Free trial period
- Active subscription plan
- Expired subscription plan
Understanding this policy will help you manage your customer conversations and avoid losing important chat records.
1. Chat History During the 7-Day Free Trial
Flowbee.io provides a 7-day free trial for new users.
During the trial period:
- All chats and messages will be stored normally.
- You can view and manage conversations inside the Team Inbox.
- Customer interactions during the trial period remain accessible.
The system will store chats created during the trial period.
2. After the Trial Period Ends
Once the 7-day free trial expires, Flowbee.io will follow the chat retention policy.
The chats that were created during the trial period will remain stored in the system for up to 90 days.
Important points:
- Trial-period messages remain stored for 90 days.
- If you upgrade to a paid plan within this period, you can continue accessing those chats.
- Messages received after the trial period ends will not be stored unless a paid plan is activated.
3. Chat Storage During an Active Paid Plan
When your Flowbee.io subscription plan is active:
- All messages and chats are stored normally.
- Conversations remain accessible in the system.
- Customer communication and follow-up history are preserved.
Your chat history will continue to update while your plan remains active.
4. After a Paid Plan Expires
If your subscription plan expires, Flowbee.io provides a 7-day grace period.
During this grace period:
- Chats remain stored in the system.
- You can renew your plan without losing conversation history.
This period allows users to reactivate their subscription without immediate data loss.
5. After the Grace Period
If the plan is not renewed within the 7-day grace period:
- Messages received after the grace period will not be stored in the system.
- Chat history will stop updating.
However, chats created during the active plan period and the 7-day grace period will remain stored for up to 90 days.
After 90 days, the stored chat data may be permanently removed from the system.
Important Recommendation
To avoid losing important customer conversations, we strongly recommend:
- Renewing your Flowbee.io plan before it expires
- Keeping your account active at all times
This ensures continuous message storage and uninterrupted communication with your customers.
